China Ad Watch: Pac-Man played by Chevy stunt drivers.


(via) To tease the launch of a new turbo model of the Chevy Cruze T, a popular auto in China, Beijing ad agency Eight Partnership recreated the Japanese video game using a combo of computer graphics and an indoor set. I'm neither a "car guy" nor a "video game guy," so it doesn't really do much for me. But, I guess it's a decent Big Idea, right?. Previously in: China Ad Watch.

It is a big idea. But, I think this activity would have done a better job showing off the agility of a go cart or a bumper car.

I remember when my oldest kid would watch Power Rangers. Same kind of music. Same kind of "action." That same show produced a Power Ranger murderer.
