The absolute dumbest forklift ads ever.

(click ads, via)
In fact, these are strong challengers to the dumbest ad I've ever seen.
Reliability?!? How about speed? How about getting out of your fucking forklift and running, you fucking idiot? Nice Photoshop work as well. Nissan, you should be proud. I hope, for your sake, these are fake. Ad agency: IM Advertising, Australia.
And here's 14 more of the Dumbest Ads Ever.

so they're saying that the forklifts can withstand predator drone attacks? well, maybe, as the ad clearly shows, but... are they stronger than altoids?

A lot of ads in trade magazines for industrial equipment look like these ads. They employ a certain "work site friendly" tongue in cheek. Yes, the execution is broad and stupid, but the target audience knows that. It's kind of like an ironic t-shirt.

Yeah,
As a guy who has worked blue collar, and proud to say that, I think these ads are good.

What fork lift driver hasn't dreamed of saving the world on his mighty machine.

Really, these do work for the demographic, IMHO. I'd like to point you to some ads in the Pollution Engineering Mag or Facilities Management Mag. I'll have to look them up and send them to Mr. Rant.

I thought the first one had nice use of red and the second green. But then I am just a sheeple.

I've worked blue collar jobs, including driving a forklift (that was only for a summer, though).

...which is one of the reasons why I detest most of the douches who work in the ad industry, and count exactly zero ad people as close friends.

I'm pretty sure these are just meant to be a ridiculous parody of some crappy japanese b-movie godzilla poster / ultraman nutty theme. It is Nissan after all.... N one thinks it's bad ass that you can survive these disasters on your forklift? come on! willingly suspend your disbelief!
